What started as a novel idea -- to assemble four culturally and artistically diverse musicians to form a new ensemble -- has turned into a semi-annual, must-see concert event in Boston. Tonight's ''Cultural Constructions V: Diverse Voices of Islam" presents four artists depicting Islam's musical and cultural traditions. The performers include Malian guitarist-vocalist Boubacar Diabate, Pakistani vocalist Tanya Mohammad Jacobs, oud player Abdul-Wahab Kayyali, and Raqib Hassan. Presented by the Boston Creative Music Alliance, the show is at the Institute of Contemporary Art at 8 p.m. Tickets: $10.
